Community Health Outreach Worker Volunteer Update

I promised in my last post to provide an update to our highly successful Community Health Outreach Worker Volunteer Training. So, here it is. 23 talented, committed and energenic community members completed their training and are now successfully integrated into HIV Education and Prevention programming.

Some hook up with staff to deliver street outreach, Others manage the front desk of our Education and Prevention office providing a friendly face to those we serve. More than a few distribute safer sex supplies and information througout the community. And some are preparing to participate in bar and nightclub outreach.

So there ya go. Our crew has expanded again to meet the needs of our commuity. Effective HIV Education and Prevention saves lives and makes our neighborshoods a better place. Stay tuned to my next post where I'll talk about something totally different.

Be well,

Katherine
